My children of 5, 10, 13 first time on a board and they had a great time and want to come back to see them again. I was concerned they wouldn't take to it, but the guys put so much profesinalism and fun, with love and care into teaching them, they really didn't want to come home. They also helped me focus on perfecting skills and knock out 20 years of bad habits when pointing down the hill in mach speed from A to B. It's only a shame that we have to wait until next season to come back, and hopefully in time they get a chance to teach us all their freestyle game!!

He makes you feel confident in what you are doing. He always finds a way to make the most of the conditions and the most important part is, it is fun! We laughed a lot and i learned a lot. He gave her lots of useful tips to deal with steep slopes and general technique. We also went off piste and he was fantastic at finding hidden pockets of snow amongst the spring slush. I would definitely recommend Valerio if your in the Portes Du Soleil area and need some lessons/guiding/fun. He also speaks English, French and Italian very well.

His experience is evident—he thoroughly analyses your riding, even taking videos to review on the lift, which helps fine-tune your technique for the next runs. Super nice guy, incredibly helpful! I flew in from NYC for about a week. I luckily picked 4 days of snowy conditions and was able to split my lessons learning powder turns, carving technique, and some freestyle foundations. Valerio and Stefano are patient, kind, and very skillful. They are positive and were always looking to help me progress safely. They adjusted the lessons to match my developing skill and also my energy/soreness levels which was much appreciated. This was the best snowboarding trip I’ve ever been on and I cannot wait to be back learning more from them next season. I came out feeling much more confident and with a technique that works really well. He’s also a super nice and funny guy, so you’ll have a good time as well. Would recommend him to anyone

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I rent gear from?

We recommend The Woods on Rue du Bourg for all your rentals. Nico and the team there are total experts at what they do and will have you sorted out in no time!

Should I wear protective gear?

It is mainly personal preference on what protective gear you wish to wear. It is worth noting that having an instructor with you reduces the risk of falling over, but we do recommend wrist protection and a helmet. Our policy is that all students under the age of 18 must wear a helmet.

What languages do you speak?

Our international instructors speak fluent English, French, Italian and Spanish meaning that you can experience expert instruction in your preferred language.

Is a ski pass included?

We do not provide ski passes. These will need to be purchased in advance of your snowboard lesson. You can purchase them at the bottom of the Gondola (we recommend arriving early if you do this as sometimes the queues can be quite long.) Otherwise we suggest buying your ski passes online at …..

Where do I meet my Instructor?

For lessons in Avoriaz your instructor will be waiting for you at the top of the Prodain Gondola. Simply head up the escalator, step onto the snow and you’ll see your instructor with a Legend jacket on.

For lessons in Morzine your instructor will be waiting for you at the top of Pleney Gondola with a Legend jacket on.

For lessons in Les Gets your instructor will be waiting for you at the bottom of the Chavanne gondola with a Legend jacket on.

What happens in the case of adverse weather conditions?

In the unlikely event that extreme weather causes lift/ resort closures the lesson will be postponed or rearranged according to our availability. However, cancellation for any other reason should be claimed on your holiday insurance.

Can families do lessons together?

Adults and children learn differently and therefore we always recommend that they take lessons separately. This allows for everyone to progress at the correct pace and make the most out of the lesson.

Can different ability levels attend the same lesson?

We always aim to create groups based on the same level so that everyone can make the most out of the lesson. However, if you are set on riding together, the lesson will be taught to the lowest ability level to ensure a safe and enjoyable lesson for everyone.
